CARTI PROJECTS PRESENTATIONS 2008
SyracuseCoE will host its CARTI Project Presentations Dec. 4 and 5, 2008 at the Renaissance Hotel in Syracuse, NY.
Active members of the SyracuseCoE community — PIs, co-PIs, Partners, collaborators, and student researchers—are invited to attend and participate at this event for as long as schedules permit.

What to expect:
• Presentation of projects from CARTI I and II will be held in a seminar format. The SyracuseCoE Scientific Advisory Committee and the grant’s US EPA Project Manager will attend the presentations.
• Each day will begin with a plenary presentation of the three-year CARTI projects:
- On Dec. 4, Prof. Charley Driscoll of Syracuse University will present "An Intelligent Urban Environmental System (i-UES) for Central New York Water Resource Management" at 8:30 a.m.
- On Dec. 5, Prof. Myron Mitchell of SUNY-ESF will present "Characterization of the Ambient Air Quality in Syracuse, NY and Identification of its Origins.” Prof. Phil Hopke of Clarkson University leads this project at 8:30 a.m.
• After the plenary session, Air and Water presentations will be held in parallel sessions, starting at 9:30 a.m. on both days.
• Select TAD grant projects presentations will be made on Dec. 4, starting at 3:15 p.m.
• SyracuseCoE will host a reception/dinner on the evening of Dec. 4.
