SyracuseCoE Now Accepting Presentation Proposals for 12th Annual Symposium

Call for Abstracts

The Syracuse Center of Excellence (SyracuseCoE) is accepting proposals for its 12th annual Symposium on Environmental and Energy Systems, to be held on October 11th at the Oncenter Complex in Syracuse, NY. In addition to a full schedule of plenary speakers and session tracks on October 11^th, we will be offering half-day, post-conference workshops at the SyracuseCoE Headquarters on October 12^th.

SyracuseCoE invites oral and poster presentation proposals from areas in environmental and energy systems. This includes, but is not limited to: sustainable communities, advanced building technologies, water resources, indoor environmental quality, clean and renewable energy, healthy buildings, and sustainable materials management. Tracks will be organized under three categories: research, community solutions, and industry collaboration/ business development.

Abstracts (200 words or less), should include:

• Title
• Author(s)
• Affiliation
• Type of presentation (oral, poster, student poster)
• Three learning objectives
• Presenter biography

Abstracts should be emailed to aclinkhammer@syracusecoe.org and must be received no later than 5:00 p.m., Monday, June 11, 2012. A confirmation email will be sent acknowledging receipt of the abstract.

Undergraduate, masters, and Ph.D students who wish to enter a poster in the Student Poster Competition should submit an abstract by Friday, August 31, 2012.
