SyracuseCoE Symposium 2010 - Call for Abstracts
The Syracuse Center of Excellence is now accepting abstracts for proposals for the 2010 SyracuseCoE Symposium. The theme for this year's symposium, to be held September 27 and 28 at the Oncenter Complex in Syracuse, NY, is "Restoring Sustainable, Healthy Communities." The SyracuseCoE invites proposals from professionals and graduate students from the academic, industry, and research sectors, as well as community organizations.
Presentations are welcome in the thematic area of the symposium, as well as in all areas of research, demonstration, deployment, and commercialization within the three focus areas of the SyracuseCoE: indoor environmental quality, water resources, and clean and renewable energy.
The abstract (200 words or less), should include title, author(s) and affiliation and should be emailed to aclinkhammer@syracusecoe.org. Abstracts are welcome to be submitted any time but no later than 5 p.m., Thursday, August 12, 2010. A confirmation email will be sent acknowledging receipt of the abstract.
A limited number of oral presentation slots are available so please specify on your abstract submission if you are interested in making an oral or poster presentation. The poster presentations will occur from 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday, September 27 while oral presentations will take place between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on the same day. Prototypes and interactive displays are encouraged as part of the presentations. If you have something to show or demonstrate, please make a special note when submitting your abstract.
Acceptance and notification of the presentation type will occur the week of August 16.
Please contact Aimee Clinkhammer at aclinkhammer@syracusecoe.org or 315.443.3741 if you have any questions.
